Lisa Perry Book Signing
Join Assouline at The Royal Poinciana Plaza for a book signing with Lisa Perry.
Perry, known for her 60s-inspired collection of clothing and accessories reminiscent of Courrèges and Cardin, is now showcasing her longtime passion: the home. Her love for design is infectious and this tour through her personally curated spaces instantly sparks joy. Each property displayed is a bold composition of artwork, furniture, lighting, and creating flourishes. Lisa never forgoes a chance to place pops of color and her spaces come alive with the whimsical art of Jeff Koons, Roy Lichtenstein, Ellsworth Kelly, and furniture designer, Pierre Paulin.
Written and photographed by Robyn Lea, with a foreword by Hillary Clinton and an introduction by Lisa Perry.
Panel Discussion: Patrons of the Future
A conversation between Thelma Golden, Ann Tenenbaum, and Beth Rudin DeWoody. In our ever-changing funding climate for art and artists as well as ‘culture’ more broadly, what might the patron of the future look like? Who are the patrons (individuals, organizations, public/private sector players) who support artists and artistic practices in new and innovative ways? What new kinds of innovative funding streams, relationships, and support structures might we envision for the artists and for the communities in which they work as we look to solidifying the future of art, culture, and communities across the U.S.?
